Construct works too much and must perform on stage to survive. It may sound crazy but this guy keeps really busy. Founder of international podcast & blog, J’aime Le Dubstep, Construct has been pushing bass in every way possible. Starting in Halifax 5 years ago as a DnB/Breaks promoter, he discovered Dubstep and propelled himself to the air waves of CKDU.ca 88.1FM for a 2 year stint before making moves to Montreal. Jumping on board with Vilify at Bass Drive Wednesdays and running two weekly radio shows at Sub.FM & Jungletrain.net, it wasn’t long before Constuct had rinsed all the biggest clubs & venues in Montreal. Performing on stage with acts such as Benga, Skream, Rusko, Goldie, Bassnectar, Chrispy, Borgore, and many more. His intense energy on stage is felt by everyone as he tears through crates of exclusive bone shaking Dubstep/Bass Music or mind shattering Riddims & Amens; all while jumping, kicking & screaming at the helms of the mixer.
Construct is a definitive source of cutting edge Bass Music that pleases the heads to the haters every time he blows up a party. Catch him Live on Air every Tuesday Nights on Dubstep.FM – 8-10pm EST / 5-7pm PST / 1-3am GMT • & • Wednesday Nights on Nasty.FM – 7-9pm EST / 4-6pm PST / 12-2am GMT.

BIO:
Amy Kirtay is a writer/blogger/digger & all-round enthusiast of sounds orbiting the low end of the frequency spectrum. Located in Victoria, BC, she runs Dub Selekta, a blog that highlights talent, both regional and global, focusing on dubstep, drum&bass, glitch hop and other future-leaning dance music. Kirtay’s congenial, conversational writing style takes her to both ends of the bass music spectrum and everywhere in between; from cutting edge innovators like Distal and Eprom, to scene giants like Excision and 12th Planet, Dub Selekta’s exuberant passion for underground dance music shows in her fervent pursuit of quality bass.
2011 has been a busy year for Kirtay. Festival features for Rifflandia, Decibel and Shambhala alongside work for J’aime le Dubstep and the Supreme Hustle have kept Kirtay busy, all while maintaining dubselekta.com, Vancouver Island’s most respected bass music blog. Working closely with Victoria’s sub|division crew and Level 4 PR in San Francisco, Kirtay continues to extend her influence locally and globally. Keep tabs on her for regular servings of freshly baked bass goodness.

BIO:
Harmsworth. Known for his epic style that combines the perfect mix of dark and heavy with melodic and sublime, he is no stranger to making a dance floor get busy. Co-founding Halifax collectives ‘Break Beat Elite’ and ‘The Halifield Movement’ his influence will be forever ingrained on the city’s nightlife. He has played all over Eastern Canada and The United States, sharing the stage with such greats as Excision, Bare Noize, Dieselboy, Flux Pavilion, Bombaman, Vaski, Porter Robinson to name only a few.
Now in Montreal, Harmsworth has become one of the most notorious and sought after sound selectas, gaining resident status with Dub-Machine and frequenting the Bass Drive stage at Le Belmont alongside Vilify. Somehow he still finds time to write for international podcast & blog: JaimeLeDubstep.com and guest host J’aime Le Dubstep radio on Dubstep.FM with Construct. Now most recently, he has teamed up with Geoff Bukk on a multi genre production/DJ duo, known as “The Rukkus”.
To call him versatile would be an understatement. Be it with jungle, breaks, glitch hop, electro, dubstep or a combination of all five, you can guarantee he will have even the haters nodding their heads to his madness.

BIO:
[ Tuff Love Dubs / Betamorph Recs. / JaimeLeDubstep.com ]
With releases clocking in on labels such as Tuff Love Dubs, Betamorph, Filthy Digital, BroTown, Monkey Dub, Heavy Artillery and more, Geoff Bukk is skillfully and rowdily repping Montreal like no other. Thoroughly involved in both aspects of the bass music industry, on the one hand producing his own brand of distinctly heavy and neuro-like dubstep, and on the other, helping other artists and their work get to the masses as an active writer and member of the JaimeLeDubstep.com crew, it’s clear that Geoff Bukk is truly in it for the music. Garnering support on the international front from heavyweights such as Total Recall, Reid Speed, HULK, Bratkilla, F3Tch and Mark Instinct, and with some major local love from the Montreal fam including Construct, Vilify, Risk, Living-Stone and so much more, it’s no surprise the city has had the pleasure of hearing him play alongside the likes of Borgore (Buygore), 12th Planet (SMOG), Niveau Zero (Ad Noiseam) and Zed’s Dead, just to name a tame few.
Recent (2011) releases fresh off the summer plate include : a 3-part, 6-track Bukkstep package realeased by Tuff Love Dubs, where 3 of the 6 tunes reached Beatport’s Dubstep Top 100, one of which also shot up into Beatport’s Top 10 Must Hear Dubstep Tracks of week 24; A 4-track self-titled EP released on the all-mighty HULK’s label, BroTown Records, featuring some of Bukk’s best and hardest hitters; An official remix of Filth Collin’s ”Hellburg” track for the “Let me go” remix competition, settling in at 3rd place and released on Betamorph Recordings. This last summer has shown no signs of slowing down for the Montreal producer.
Coming up in Geof Bukk’s projects is the debute, long-awaited collaboration with Big Sips (Eric Clement), with their “First Offerings EP” which is soon to be released on Betamorph. Another batch of banging music on F3tch’s brand new label ATOM Recordings is expected to launch early 2012, as well as a collection of varied original tunes and remixes served up through Tuff Love Dubs which is also in the works by this amazingly relentless filthmaker. All in all, big moves are being made by this Montreal-based badman holding down a non-stop momentum.
